With climate change being such a hot topic for what feels like forever now, it's time to face up to an unsettling realisation - that it's not the lack of information and helpful advice that stops us from acting. In fact, if anything, it's the sheer volume of it that causes our heads to explode!
We're currently working to improve this part of the site, but in the meantime, check out our (now rather basic) introductions.
Many of you will have been in this whole 'world-changing' business for a while now, starting way back then with a burst and a flourish. You'd be forgiven for feeling a bit tired and frustrated, perhaps even unsure whether your effort is truly paying off.
They say that Copenhagen was 'the end of the beginning'. The first bit of the race. The bit where you've not noticed how long there is to go, and just set off sprinting with passion.
At a certain point, you realise you can't run that way for the whole race, or you'll end up crumpled in a heap long before the finish line.
As well as getting better at pacing ourselves, we also need to improve our ways of working with each other. It's no longer about getting everyone to as much as they can, whenever they can. Now's the time to focus on getting the right people to do the right thing at the right time.
If you just want to see stuff done, in an open, experimental and sometimes haphazard way, and with little care about who takes the credit, then get involved with ChiC and Copyleft Campaigns, and help us make 2009 the dress rehearsal it always had to be.
