"Climate Change is the most pressing issue facing our world in the 21st century. Clearly, we need the global community and individual nations to take action. But we also must take action ourselves at a local level and do what we can to change things. So it is time for grassroots projects to help encourage individual action and inspire environmental responsibility and Change is Coming I hope will do just that.
"There are many things we can take on a personal level such as recycling, energy conservation, composting and mode of travel. Currently we are faced with an enormous range of choices in our lives which have variable and sometimes contradictory impacts upon our carbon footprints. Sometimes this gets so confusing that we don't feel we know what we can do to help. The presence of this forum will enable these decisions to be discussed and debated and solutions sought and shared. And many people feel that they alone cannot do anything to make a difference, so this Change of Coming can help encourage people that they can and they should!
